Remove Cevoid code from Shopify theme

When you uninstall the Cevoid app our galleries will be hidden on your store. Our code however is still there in your theme file. Learn how to remove it here

When our Shopify app is uninstalled, Shopify removes our access to change your theme. This means that the Cevoid code needs to be removed manually. Please follow this guide to remove it manually.

  1. In the Shopify admin panel,
    Navigate to  Online Store ➡ Themes ➡ Actions ➡ Edit code



  2. Locate the snippet folder 
  3. Delete the file named
    cevoid_gallery.liquid



  4. Locate the Sections folder (#4 & #5 only applies if you have installed the Cevoid sections)
  5. Delete the file named
    cevoid_section.liquid




  6. Locate and edit the file named product-template.liquid (#6, #7 & #8 only applies if you have embed the product page gallery)
  7. Search for 
    Cevoid
  8. Delete the Cevoid Div code that appears in the search result
  9. Press Save
